sony's older models weren't awefull, but i honestly think their new ones are. you can tell the difference between them becuase the older models were rated at 700W i think, and the new ones are 800, and because the part around the surround on the new ones is silver, the older ones were black. anyways, if you really like the sound of them, keep em. if you don't, there's plenty of other subs out there that are much better, like the shiva. if you decide to sell your's, try one or two of these out http://www.acoustic-visions.com/Shiva.htm

si estas en venezuela nose que puedas conseguir. seguro los adire shiva son muy buenos pero en venezuela dudo los puedas conseguir. aqui en mexico venden una marca "db drive" que a mi juicio suenan mejor que los sony, si los encuentras deben de estar en el mismo rango de precio y te los recomiendo 100%.

y de los mas conocidos los rockford fosgate, kicker, mtx seguro los encuentras, honestamente no los he escuchado pero seguro suenan mejor que sony aunque cuesten un poquitin mas.

if these in Venezuela nose that you can obtain adire surely shiva are very good but in Venezuela I doubt you can obtain aqui to them in mexico sell a mark "db drive" that in my opinion sounds better than Sony, if you find them must be in the same rank of price and I recommend you 100%. and of but known rockford fosgate, to kicker, mtx surely you find them, I have honestly not listened to them but surely they sound better than Sony although they cost poquitin but.

With moderate-low power (300W roughly) Sony's sound far better than most people seem to think they do. They aren't SPL machines, and you should not expect them to be.

Sony definetly isn't the worst stuff out there but it sure isn't the best. My friend bought 2 older Xplods last boxing day and I helped him fab a box and it didn't sound too bad......it was better than the JL w1s he had.........

I totally agree. Maybe they are not that bad, but with so many other options why go the sony route? Maybe if you really like red or something... ?
