Just got some Sony Xplod Door Speakers 190 Peak Power 40 Rms i believe im wondering if i need to get sonys for my deck speakers (honda accord 98) or can i go with some more powerful ones without drowing out my door speakers?

might not have an issue if youre running stock headunit power or even aftermarket head unit power..

coledawg - if you aren't running an external amp, then any available brand from a "big box" retailer (Pioneer, Sony, RF, etc) 6x9's for the rear deck will work just fine. I'll recommend some Pioneer REV 6x9's if you have the money.
