I really hate to ask this knowing how we all feel about Sony on here, but........

I am about to start another build and the kid I am putting the system in has this sub. All I need to know right now is the mounting depth and CF air space required for sealed. I have looked and cant find shit. I cant get a hold of the kid to get the manual from him. Any help??

Thanks a heap!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Give the sub 1200 watts it will sound great...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

At this point I was needing the mounting depth more than anything. I am starting to design a box for it and it is going to be going behind the seat of a '84 Chevy p/u. Just trying to make it as narrow as I can. The air space I can adjust in the width. Here is the thread on the last one I put in. Again I didn't buy the stuff, I just installed it. I am still waiting for him to come by so I can get pics of it after they got the interior reinstalled. http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=179152

In your car it's all about the bass, and subwoofers are your biggest allies in achieving the sound your neighbors fear. So what separates XPLOD subwoofers from the others? Sony's exclusive superior 5-sided rigid Polypropylene cones, monster 4-layer edge wound voice coils, heavy duty stroke stabilizer surrounds and an inner cap clamp between the woofer cone and the voice coil.
CHYEA TEH SONY XPLODES MY NEIGHBORS FEAR. But id say its about 5in deep just from pics an stuff
