Interested, but I need to know what model it is, 1001 or 2001. If its 2001 I need to know the firmware on it. The model is at the bottom of the unit the last 4 digits. The firmware go to system settings and look for firmware, it will say if it is 3.52, 3.72, 4.01 etc.....

The model of the PSP is 1001. And the firmware version is 2.81.

yea thats one of the forums i've been looking at. i've got firmware 3.95 and just want one i can play games from the mem stick. just not sure which guide to use some say you start with 1.50 and others start from other custom ones and i have neither.
