Sony or Audiobahn????

I just bought two 10 inch Pioneer TS-W256C subs for my truck. I need to get an amp for them. My brother has the same two subs hooked up to a Audiobahn A6004t amp.he's having overheating problems. Should i get the same amp, or should i get a sony X Plod XM2002GTR. I want whichever one will hit harder and be louder, but not sound like crap. The subs are like 300rms at 4 ohms. I have to get a low budget am because i dont have much cash.

there are tons of better choices... post your budget and we'll find you tons of better options... also make use of the search button

I love sony and have had nothing but great luck with them,however they never had a sub amp that had enough power for me.Ieven had an entire active sony system back in the day but i had to run usamps for my sony subs(go figure) so i would save some money and find a dei1500 or a something. If hed had overheating problems why would you want the same amp? what is your budget and we will help you out.

for the owner of the thread, for $55 you can get a assassin 10...or another $20 for assassin 12...if you're cheap, go with that!

They're very good subs for the price.

...what's your budget for teh amp?

Their 06 amp is supposed to do 900 watts and IS 2006 CEA Rated... Maybe they are trying to come up in the car audio world LOL...

try Profile, they make some decent amps,I would think they would quality wise be better.

aint nothin wrong wit sony AMPS to my knowledge. I had one and it did what it was suppose to do- 250X2 @ 2ohms. the dam amp aint over-rated but its not under rated neither. its average. ppl hate on them becuz they not 1 ohm stable. i mean dam at least sony aint lyin and shit when it come to the power rating like AUDIOBAHN. AINT NOTHIN WRONG WIT SONY AMPS jus dont try they subs.
