First off lemme just say that I am a noob to the world of car audio, and wouldn't know a quality system unless I heard one right after the other.
I bought an iPod direct Sony (CDX-GT30UI) because it had a USB on the front, only to find out that I was gonna have to connect it with an adaptor through the back anyways.
I had it for a few days without the adpator, just plugging my iPod into the audio jack on the front. NO PROBLEMS.
After the adaptor was put in (yesterday) it now starts randomly cutting out. Bumps do not affect it, and its not necessarily when I have the volume above 20, either. It just randomly will cut off and then quickly cut back on again. Sometimes, it will just outright shut off completely.
I took it back to the shop and they tightened up one of my battery cables, but no...still cutting out. Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.
And BTW, I have no other components hooked up. Just the HU and my stock speakers. Nothing else to consider.
