Hey i have a HU that has 3 rca outputs .. one of them is for subs and it says its running the subs in mono .. does that make the sound quality worse..or distorted..also with all these outputs do i need a crossover i plan on running three amps .. two for my subs and one for my fronts and mids..??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I would suggest getting a crossover in some way shape or form. Wether the crossovers are built into the amps or you buy a 2/3 way crossover seperately. Crossovers make a big difference. They cut the frequencies out that your speakers can't handle or waste to much power trying //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

depending on what sony HU you have, there will be crossovers built into it for each set of speakers (front, rear, sub). They are programmable in diffrent kHz and Hz and i think there is a +/-12dB for each group. My HU has it all, very nice features...
