sony head unit says failure and my rear speaker quits working? Help!

i just installed my new speakers and after 5 mins my head unit says failure and one speaker stops working. I unplugand then replug the speaker in and it works, then it does the same thing. Whats the problem here? Is it loose wiring, does it have to do with my head unit or my speakers. My speakers wires are just kinda hanging around the speaker should i tape around the connector and tape it down or what?

No sh|t. If you don't solder or crimp the wires to the speaker terminals it's just gonna keep coming apart & cutting out. Use common sense OP.

but it came with like these clear plastic cover that holds in place on the terminal to the speaker. I have soldered the speaker wires.
