Sony GT610Ui, XT-100HD, and Terk XM

I successfully installed a Sony CDX-GT610Ui head unit and a Sony XT-100HD Tuner in my 1994 Honda Accord Wagon. The HD sounds great, as does my iPod.

My next step was to install the Terk XM Tuner with the Sony XM Adapter, which I connected to the pass-through connections on the HD Tuner.

Unfortunately, every time I try this, I lose an input (sometimes a different one after each reset). Is there some conflict between the HD Tuner and the XM Adapter? Does anyone have a workaround?

Also, on a totally unrelated note, I noticed that one of the two screws (with the 8mm hex head) that hold the head unit in place was missing. I haven't been able to find a matching screw, so I welcome suggestions there as well.

No thoughts at all on this? I'm really beating my head against a wall, and Sony was no help.
