ah my first system. xplod 6x9's, 2 10's, amp, HU. still got the amp and 10's up in the attic and the HU has been going strong in my cousins car for 6 years!!!

see i didnt buy em cause i thought they were good. i was 16, worked at sears, we had all last season stuff on clearance and i got it all for like 100 bucks. i knew they werent great but i didnt know how cheap you could buy stuff online for at the time. it was a good starter system to learn how to install and what not with.

i ended up frying one of the subs and the amp and since i bought the protection plan on it they gave me all new stuff. then i bought better stuff ha ha. now i have brand new xplod 10's and a 2 channel amp in the attic

the black coned 15's get pretty loud for cheap.

Wow you bumped your own 2 year old thread. That's......cool.

Anyway, my first system was a "package" from CC. 2 10's (the regular round black cone ones...bottom of the barrel) "480w" amp that was really 90x2 and a sealed box. Paid $210 for it and $75 for install/wiring. Hahahaha it sucked so bad. Sold everything to a guy (not really my friend so I didn't care) for $160 so at least I got some money back. HU was Blaupunkt from Costco...lol how far we come in a few years.
