sony cdx aux

hey,

I have a sony cdx c5000r and i want to play my mp3 player through it. i have a lead that connects into where the cd changer would then into the mp3 player (using phono leads). i cant seem to work out how to select the cd changer to get it to work though! i also have a bus input in the back but dont know how to make it work through there either.

Help!!!
