Sony CDS-GT410 any good?

I am considering this head unit. The reason is because it is the cheapest one I could find with a USB port (not counting a $99 one from a brand called Nextar which I don't trust).

Is this head unit a good buy? My primary concern is cost. Also I want to buy from a local store, not online.

Sony on these forum is like Bush no one likes it but people buy it, I own Sony and as a quality product I can tell you that is good but most of the people here are "PRO" or "hardcore" system

geeks and they don't like Sony because they go with the flow Pioneer, alpine, CF, etc, one thing is for sure if you going hardcore on Bass don't go with Sony BUT if you want to go low profile get it.....

If i was you I will try that 99.00 bucks unit .........tell us the story if you get it

Well I bought the Sony deck, actually not the one in the link but the CDX-GT410 which is $10 more and as far as I can tell is identical except it comes with a remote.

Still haven't installed it, I've been working late all week and haven't had time (it's dark by the time I get home).

I would of liked to try the $99 deck, I believe in giving unknown brands a chance, but I just can't risk it, what if it turns out it really sucks. I hope other people (with more money to risk than me) buy it and review it, maybe it turns out to be really good, and more competition to the big players can't be a bad thing.
