I had crutchfield totally lose an order I placed about 18 months ago. I could see the charge on my card, but crutchfield customer service could not even confirm that I placed an order til I gave them the Transaction number. And even then they could see that I paid them, but didn't know what I had bought.

Just remember that technology is not perfect, and neither are people. Anyone that you buy something from can and will make a mistake every now and then.
