Somewhat confused on a IDQ 10" V.2 D4

OKAY...I got a Image Dynamics IDQ V.2 D4.....

I have an Arc Amplifier 2050-CXL...the Manual shows it "BRIDGED AT 4 ohms = 2X230watts........

But does not give the Bridged levels at 2 ohms....I went to sound domain and the Sub wiring options for this IDQ V.2 D4 do not show a 4 ohm bridged set up except for dual subs....Am I just confused or will my ARC amp still fuel a "single" 10"IDQ thats Dual 4 Ohms??? or did I get the wrong SUB???

A majority of amps are not stable at 2ohms bridged mode, i think yours included. I think you should get the D2 cpnfiguration or get another IDQ V.2 D4.

you can only wire a dual four at two or four ohms...go to jl audio and find the sub wiring tutorial..

oh wow, your sub can be wired only to 2 ohms and 8 ohms. and yes the arc is not stable down to 2 ohms bridged. go get yourself a new amp.

****...I DID NOT WANT THOSE ANSWERS....BUT I EXPECTED THEM.....SINCE I AM PLANNING FUTURE UPGRADES YOU THINK GETTING ANOTHER IDENTICAL SUB WOULD BE IDEAL...EVEN IF ONLY 115 WATTS OF ARC GOES TO EACH NOW, I WILL GET A BETTER AMP LATER THAN A DIFFRENT AMP NOW!!!?...THATS WHAT I AM THINKING AT THIS POINT!!!

SO "BUY" ANOTHER IDQ 10" V.2.D$ and the ARC amp at 2X230 Bridged Mono would be the ideal set up for now...I know it's mild...but it's SQ and I just need some **** Sounds already....!!!!LOL

that amp is only 1x230@4ohm bridged, NOT 2x230@4ohm bridged.

Better idea would be to use that amp for your components up front unless you have a component amp already and then buy a matching arc 2100CXL , that will give you 190watts to each subwoofer if you buy another IDQ or 190watts to the sub you have if you bridge the amp to 8ohms.

????I am starring at the Owners manual for these 3 Arc Amps and it says

Stereo 2 X 70 @ 4 ohms...

Stereo 2X 110 @ 2 ohms........

Bridged at 2 X 230? @ 4 ohms.....

The other 2 amps are powering my components......And I am well aware this is pretty week Sub Power if I use 1 amp..but again it's a "WHAT CAN I DO RIGHT NOW DEAL".......Buy another IDQ???...I got the Credit Card ready???

The Amps are immaculate (birth sheets and original boxes..etc..etc...)..used twice by a ARC audio Sponsered guy who got 2n'd in SQ at the World Finals 2 years ago???

Still confused.....I will get another sub right now..or look on EBAY for an 2100-CXL 1X380 bridged at 4 ohms and sell this last amp...HELP!!!

and "JUST GET A NEW AMP" is cool except these are all matching and immaculate show quality....my next option is a 2100-CXL....for what? like $300...I got to work with what I got if possible.

what you can do is buy another amp or you can the sub at 8 ohms and get 115 watts. your call.

I'll probably do the 8ohm load..and BTW....Do you have an ARC AMP..that EBAY add is all out of Specs in description..and thats from Arc themselves...for gods sake..it's WHITE!!..LOL

At the 1 X 230 thats till a measley 115 watts per sub right? if I get another IDQ?

if those are the wrong specs then those specs are at least around the ballpark. you are only gonna get around 115 watts @ 8 ohms. actually i ran my idq with around 170 watts and it hit pretty decent. but i would just get another amp because i like more power to my sub anyways.

Already bought another IDQ as we post...I will deal with the Amp issue later......Like I said..I am all about SQ....****!!!..I have had many a system in the last 15 years....Had a Slammed Dually with a All time Classic Rockford Fosgate Punch Mosfet Amp pushing 2 twelves..that AMP was amazing....Wish I still had it to sell on Ebay or use...It was so stealth and made in the day when Car Audio was not like a "fantasy football league"..that thing hit so hard it was ridiculous..no suprise it they now sell on Ebay for over $1500....I see Kids with Vans and like 8 12" subs..and the whole JL AUDIO Phase in 2000 which was pretty gay...but it was all NWA & Public enemy back in the day and it BUMPED, No 50 cent or Ghetto booty crap then..

I still have not heard another System Hit like that one except at Shows with guys running multiple alternators and 4 optima batteries...

Well that was then I guess!. **** THAT TRUCK HIT HARD....!!!...LOL
