Who uses moneybookers or paymate etc? im getting tired of PP and their games. I do way too much business to deal with it. They also wanted to put a hold on my account when i had more than 1200 in it for no reason. So what else is there?

only one problem. I cant use money order like a credit card/advance. Paypal allowes me to use the bill me later and my bank account :/

Has to be a better alternative to PP.. the place *****! Hold funds for no reason. Refuse to explain themselves. Constantly lose important documentation like SSN's and banking information, etc. etc.

i just bought an amp on ebay. They opened a case themselves for no reason on him.... i dont get it. but i hope its nothing... and i had to open onee earlier myself because i bought an amp 2 weeks ago and have no amp. guess they will take forever on that...

explain this hold a little more.... i got the 2-day hold, which i thought was standard, on $100 amounts, but that was refunds....

i cant because they just say "emailed party"

the 1200$ hold was a while back when i was trying to buy a car for dads lot on ebay but thats cleared up

hmm, only problem i've had is when i reached my 10k spending limit, and only had to get verrified to keep using. i only ever trust paypal.... and absolutely hate money orders. it's real inconvenient to get to the post office and stand in line for ever listening to the f'n people bs and explain every little intermost working of the post office to every costomer. c'mon it's just a freaking box. take the money and move on already!..... anyways, and you might as well be sending cash. worst thing for me on paypal, is logging in and taking the "mailto:" off e-mail addresses.

I use money order for everything. My uncle had his paypal account hacked while he was on his honeymoon with his wife in cancun and paypal refused to reimburse him until a "full investigation" was conducted a week later. He ended up having to fly back 3 days earlier due to not having the cash to cover expenses. I don't feel comfortable having my funds dictated by a third party that can freeze them on a whim. USPS Money order hasn't failed me yet even though most prefer paypal. Never had any problems and I never have to worry about the money not being available.

my acnt was hacked last month for 125$ paypal gave me the money to use until they got mine back. was very nice i just dont like how they can make a claim themselves.

I do realize how convenient and safe paypal is SUPPOSED to be, but I just feel more confident and less restrictive with a money order. It's just personal preference I guess.

Some of you may hate me for suggesting it but check out Dwolla.....works great for me and all transactions are only .25 cent. It's gaining major steam.....

I'm in the same boat. I've been a verified member for years and they just slapped me with a b.s. hold for no reason. When I called PayPal first I had to lie my way through the automated call to actually let me speak to areal person. Then the lady who could barely speak English denied that they ever put a hold on my account. It clearly stated in my transaction history that there was a hold placed and theyes would contact me which they didn't.
