here's some stuff you guys might like, no worries it's not another painting (which some of you are dearly fond of).
for the past 3 years i've worked halloween horror nights at universal studios orlando. for those not familiar it's a special event in october where about 19 days out of the month they build detailed haunted houses and "scarezones" aka streets. There are 3-4 streets and anothr 5-7 haunted houses, and about half from each are decent and worth somewhat of a wait. The park will open at like 6:30 and run until midnight or 2am depending on the night. All the other rides and attractions are open, as well as lots of other cool shit going on in the streets throughout the park. This year we had a chainshaw patrol that just ran through the park stalking peopel with the chainsaws. it freaks some ppl outmore than you think. you'll get one bad *** street and one bad *** house each year. trick is you gotta go on non-peak nights when there's less volume of people. the wait is redonkulous on peak nights. the record so far iirc was like 46,000 last year when both parks + studio area were being used. besides tickets sales, next biggest revenue is alchole sales //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
In these areas's you get people like me with soem sort of costume or professonal makeup useing the elements around us on set to scare your drunk ***. There's enough people that give it everything they got and if we dont scare you, we'll at least startle the **** of of you. I will say, this job is so much unbelieveably ****ign awsome id do it for free.
....However i get paid 7.35 an hour, work 45min/45min paid breaks, and get a SHIT TON(ill go into that later) of benifits all year and i work the one month out of that year. his past year i was a scarecrow ina street, last yea ri was a frozen corps and "processor" (skull mask with a business suit)ina house, and the year before prisoner in a 1950's prison riot.
onto the pics. lots coming.
i was a scarecrow this year
this year was great because i had an extremely well done costume, and i had a nice platform to chill on and use with the crowd. if i stood still on the platform i looked like a prop unless i moved or made eye contact. then every 15min or so i could creep down into the street right in front of the platform and reak choas on the ****ers down there for 10 min, then go back to the platform and chillax.

wish this one wasnt blurry

i call this one passion of the scarecrow

the tounge when used right wiht the sounds and distracting people was like cowbell, essential...

one of my favorite scares was trying to point at people and motion for them to come to the platform and wait for them to platform. the ones that walk off i wait till they just look away, and then im on the ground and within feet of them in about 4-5seconds....they look back, im no thtere, they forward, im 6inches away and time a very, very creepy sound. one's a loud inhaleing snarl, the other is a creppy hissing noise. this shit is FUN. the other months just arent the same. i do a **** good job at it, and i was lucky to have really good sets and costuming my 3 years.
