i got to talking to dave (louisiana_crx) about some trucks ive built over the years and trashed. figured id post some pics.

sorry about the poor quality of the bronco and ramcharger i had to use the digital to take pics of regular film pictures. im going to try and find a scanner to get better copies.

81 Bronco. 5.0 / auto. all i did was hack about 3 inches off of the fenders and cleared 38's.

these are pics after its death in the river bottoms.

it was stuck to the middle of the grill. i ended up having to leave it for 1 1/2 weeks with the river flooding over it. when i got a 4x4 backhoe to go get it out it had been turned into a jump for 4wheelers. windows smashed, engine parts stolen, etc....

1979 Dodge Ramcharger (this was before i swapped the running rear)

fulltime 4wd extremely heavy duty.

cut fenders with 35's

the damage you can see to the front was from using it to ram the bronco from the front to try and free it from the mud. as well as driving through an old garage to knock it down.

gotta love steel vehicles

im trying to find pics of my K10 blazer. 12" suspension, 3" body, 3" reverse shackles

i drove it the 857 miles from my house to fort polk after i came home for christmas leave. i made it all the way to shreveport, la and in the middle of nowhere my right rear tire tore to pieces. you have to keep in mind that i had 38.5's on it for the drive.

i just took my foot off the gas

let go of the wheel

held on to the steel frame of the seat

and was looking right at the sky

luckily a farmer brought his tractor over and lifted th truck for me to get the tire off. he drove me into town and i had something thrown on just to get to post. 38.5's on 3 corners and a 33 on the right rear. it was a hell of a ride.
