Could I use the rear rca outputs for a 3 way active setup and then use a highlevel linedriver from the decks speaker outputs to power the subwoofer ?

My thinking is to not impart Time Alignment to the sub-woofer that I set for say the mid-bass or something.

how high is your mid bass going to be playing?

Somewhere in the 250-500 range on the top crossed at 80 on the low end.

Pretty sure whatever xoverpoints/slopes you choose for the RCA's will also be sent to the respective speaker outputs...
