nonono,
I jsut put a thin layer of silicone between making the connections of the wood, to ensure a good airtight seal.

well your box is basically held together by screws then. which is not good as it is a mechanical bond instead of a chemical/mechanical

wood glue is designed to hold wood together, not feel good in your eye

put it where its supposed to be and you wont have that problem

the tapping is the sub bottoming out

i say its quite impressive that they can send that much power to the sub free air and it not break
