Its not a test tone, and I dont see where I said that. But Bobs car is an SPL car... He just plays some music with high notes on it. Thats not what bassrace is about imo. If its all about the numbers, theres no rule against putting a box on my front seat with a port that surrounds the mic and makes a seal on the windsheild. I could do that, but whats the point? Yeah, Ill get some rediculous numbers, but its kinda dumb. Ive never met Bob, and Im sure hes a real cool guy, and with the numbers he has done, its obvious his van is obnoxiously loud, but a Bassrace car should be that, a Bassrace car. Not SS 5+.
I just think its cool that everyone said that Tommy would get beat for sure if they ever went to head to head, and he came out a winner.

I never knew the song for bass race had to be low? Shit, a guy in San Mateo used a 70 hz song.

And just do you know, the 6 15s would pull a 150 daily with 3,000rms @ 38hz, and only 1 of the BTLs was actually "blown". You give me crap about not being loud, and you're the guy who runs a single 15 in a trunk car and wouldnt even post his #s after getting metered because you yourself said they were bad.

1. (6) 15" Treo SSi's should be able to do mid 50's.. easily.

2. I DID run a single 15" in a trunk, everyone starts somewhere.

3. What's tha point in posting numbers for a low tuned, low power application? I was doing mid 40's sealed on tha dash w/1500 watts, what's to hate?

Who cares what the note is? Honestly?

It's about control. Doing a 159.9 with 40 hz isn't any harder than doing a 159.9 with 55 hz....

Bob plays music. Bob demos at shows. Bob has some sweet *** door panels with lots of highs to play music. Sure it's an "SPL" car at heart, but it can play music just fine. Hell, bob DRIVES his van to shows and tommy trailers his truck.

Thats why bassrace is fun. ANY kind of setup can win.

1: Not with a box tuned to 28hz with some POS Hifonics Brutus amps. If my *** wasnt cheap back in the day I would have been mid low 150s for sure with that setup.

2: Yeah, we go.... But you've been at this for a while now.

3: Mid 140s isnt bad at all. I remember you not posting because you said they were horrible numbers. I give you props for that number, good job.

My parents bought my car, but as Ive said a hundred times, every penny of my audio equipment is my money. I worked 60 hours a week @ $8/hr + time and a half every hour over 40 for a month and a half, among other things to save up for the system I got comin up.

But I mean this is ca.com, and its a fun site. I always come check it out, Im not going to lie. Everyone gives someone a hard time for a day or two, then the next person comes along. Its what makes this site fun. Just gotta remember this is a car audio forum, and being all serious is stupid.

So anyways, lets see some pics. Ill make a thread with mine when I get em all hosted.
