That just goes to show... Stick with your roots. Dont try to play music in an SPL car because it will come back to bite you in the *** big time.

Perillo uses a high peaking song, but he just started WAAAY too quiet, and too slow. IIRC, he only started off with a high 130-low 140 and had to climb all the way up.

Bad move on bob's part, especially since in order to climb fast enough he had to push his subs WAAAAY too hard.

On saturday on a good start he did a 158 and change without breaking a sweat.

Oh well. Congrats to Tommy for being loud, I just hope it doesn't go to his head.

Frankly, it shouldnt matter if its a ss 5+ vehicle or not. Bassrace is not just about being loud, it's also about control. If bob can control that beast of a van for 30 seconds he should get just as much respect as tommy. What I find funny is that tommy doesn't even drive his truck, yet perillo drives his van to every show.

Its not a test tone, and I dont see where I said that. But Bobs car is an SPL car... He just plays some music with high notes on it. Thats not what bassrace is about imo. If its all about the numbers, theres no rule against putting a box on my front seat with a port that surrounds the mic and makes a seal on the windsheild. I could do that, but whats the point? Yeah, Ill get some rediculous numbers, but its kinda dumb. Ive never met Bob, and Im sure hes a real cool guy, and with the numbers he has done, its obvious his van is obnoxiously loud, but a Bassrace car should be that, a Bassrace car. Not SS 5+.

I just think its cool that everyone said that Tommy would get beat for sure if they ever went to head to head, and he came out a winner.
