Some pics, I hope!

I have two Akita's as well. My female is a real great dog. Our male is EVIL :p He is out often and gets to socialize just never really took to other people. Still a great breed.

That is the reason we got a female. 8/10 Males I have met have been very aggresive and quite mean. I agree they are a great breed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

Be careful with that dog around your children. My GF had one growing up. Was the sweetest dog ever and loved the kids. Then one day it snapped and tore intoher younger brother's face for absolutely no reason. I'd hate to see that happen to your children so I wouldn't leave youngin's unsupervised no matter how "sweet" it may be. Just a heads up. Pitbulls are much less prone to snapping like Akita's and Chows.

Your right, males are very difficult to deal with. When the family is home he is just the most pathetic thing you have ever seen. The second anyone else is here, he is just an insane guard dog. He weighs 107 pounds now and is about a year old. My female has only gotten forceful once and it was deserved //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Pitts are in my opinion a safer breed to go with. They make it clear when they don't like people. My dog just acts happy then attacks LOL.

Thank you for the heads up. I am well aware of there behavior. From the size of her parents I am thinking she is going to be in 115-135lbs range. I agree with the previous statements that pitts are a safer choice.
