Im starting to take some pics of the stuff i do at work. Ill add as i finish jobs. Heres a bathroom i finished. Reframed it, built a new subfloor, added hardybacker, sheetrock on the walls, put finishing on the sheetrock(homeowner is painting it), put the tub in, all the fixtures for the tub/shower, and put in tile. Here are a couple pics i took.

I did the floor in a diamond shape with the same tile but forgot to take pics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Not very modern, and I assume that you go back in time and do work in the 1960's then?
y is it not modern? What do they to. Transformers come in and hang sheetmetal in your bathroom? And she only paid $1700. She got what she wanted and its a $5000+job.

as long as she likes it and u got paid. Does it matter what assholes think?
good point. Btw, i was getting paid $1700 to put sheetrock up, finish it, put the ub in, and put the tile on. I did some plumbing under the house, reframed the floor and part of the wall for free because she couldnt afford to have it done.

Interesting . Why no bull nose around what I'm assuming is a soap / shampoo shelf ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i do tile work for a living. i notice that you didn't use any bullnose or trim pieces. are you saying that the tile work is a $5000 job? if so, i call bs
no im saying the whole job is a $5000 job. she just wanted 45 degree grouts on the outer-edge. She likes it the way it is, so i left it like that.

you mean on the floor? 45* lay-ins are usually more in labor due to having to cut/trim more pieces. looks nice, given the lack or trim units. there should be bullnose at the top (if it doesnt touch the ceiling) and on the front edge down to the tub. not to mention there are pre-made soap dishes you can buy. also bullnose around the window.

like i said, overall looks like a nice install. if the customer is happy, thats all you need

i did 45 degree grouts on top to. Then she is going to use a straightedge to paint right next to them on the side and top. Can someone show me a pic of all the trim pieces you are talkin about. as i said this is only the 3rd time ive done tile and was the first time i have done a wall and box. So i could use the help for future refrences.
