Hey guys,

Yup, this is my first post on this forum. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Anywho, I finally bought a pair of Rainbow SLC625 2-way comps. for the front of my Maxima. I now need some 6.5 coaxials for the rear doors. (I have non-Bose.) I'm going to be getting an amp with somewhere around 100w/channel because that's what the Rainbows are rated at (I believe), so I guess the rear speakers need to be around there also. Not looking to spend more than $100, so I don't know how decent of a pair that can get me, but I guess best for that price would be cool. A few things: I really don't like harsh highs, and I also don't want speakers with NO bass. Open to any recommendations except for those telling me to get X-Plod ( //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif ). And I'm still quite a newb to the car audio thing, so don't bother getting all technical on me, I'll probably just get confused.

TheBigDu- i got SL165's in my rear doors that are not even powered if you are interested, less than a month old - got power for a few days only- we can meet up/no shipping

PM tplaya07 and get yourself a set of the dls coax;s. Some of the better coax's in the sub 100 dollar range.

Do you mind me asking why you stopped using them? And do you know the rms wattage on them? Thanks.

because i dont NEED them- I have a 270rms x2 amp going to my fronstage- i bought this amp after I sold my cxl4150 which was sending the SL's 100rms a piece for not even a week- They were bought @ Unexpected Creation in Edison , NJ a Rainbow dealer- trhey are in new condition

mrsp $179, payed $129- I'll take $100
