solobaric w/small enclosure

i want to put my 2 solobaric l7s in my camaro and the people i've talked to for the install told me they could put em in but it would sound like shit with such a small enclosure and without enough room for a port

are they right? should i just use one or should i go with completely new 12s? any other way of making it sound better?

I dont know what that dealer considers a small box, but I have two L7 12's in a 3.0 cubic feet box sealed and it sounds good and hits hard. I don't think you will be dissapointed if you put enough power on them.

i have my 2 15" L7s in the smallest recommended box (1.5 cuft per sub) bc that is the only one tha would fit in my little car and they are very very loud i can just imagine what they would sound like in a 12cu ft portedbox like kicker reccomends

Why not just get one 15" L7 sub. thats 1000 rms watts...or if you want two subs then go with the minimum enclosure volume .88 cu. ft. for each sub..for the 12"

ya i talked to a friend and they said the shop just doesnt like kicker bcuz they specialize in mtx so im hopeful they'll be arite. thx for the replys.
