That was definitely just your setup then, and doesn't sound right.

My subs hit all sorts of different notes and tones. I am sure it is not as precise as say... a w7 or an XXX however it did a pretty **** good job.

I just think the trade off of the incredible power behind an L7 and pretty **** good SQ makes the L7 a pretty good sub.

for the power you have, L5's will do fine.
