solo barics?

I have an alpine mrd m500 and just bought two 2 ohm dvc 12" solo barics. I have not hooked it up yet because a friend told me I bought too much sub for the amp. Could this be true? You didn't buy too much sub for the amp IMO. Wire the subs up series parallel and it will sound great.

I think you will do fine, go for it. The alpine prolly puts out more than its rated i believe
