meant 10, 12, 18 sorry for me the time I posted was really early lol. I was up until like 5am and that post was at about 10:30 so I was a bit tired. Yes the Solo's can be nice but I'd take an MT anyday of the week. Hell there are 3-5 subs I'd take over a Solo X and hand it to the Solo. Put a Solo X of any size on 10kw burps for over 30 seconds they don't take it.

deathmatch...I didn't know the original poster was doing 10,000 watts on deathmatch....name a sub that can play for 30 seconds, full boogy for 30 seconds with 10,000 watts...I don't think there is any woofer, at full tilt, for 30 seconds...Deathmatch is done, with an average score, over 30 seconds...

matt asked what is needed for 10kw 30 second's I said deathmatch. don't get your panties in a bunch, he didn't like the Solo's and personally I'd take an MT over a Solo anyday. Do i chastize you for liking a solo x more than the mt no.

an MT can take 2500 without a sweat, so whats ur point? Guy out here won a comp last year with i believe 2 15" mts and each one had 4 modded mtx 1501s running about (about 8000 watts to each sub). I believe hit 156.? , so the mt can definately get just as loud. However I wouldn't recommend either for a daily driver. Not sure on the solo x stand point but I've heard many places, including re, that the mt is not a daily driver sub. Have you done a lot of research on it? However I'd recommend 2 12" sx's or maybe a 15" xxx even with the gain adjusted accordingly... prolly around 1600-1800 watts. Just my 2 cents.

And last of all I recommended the triple XXX or Two SXS because I thought it would work better for him... unless he doesn't have the space.
