Looking for an amp between 2500-3500 @ any ohm. Haven't picked the subs yet, so the ohm load isn't important yet. had my eyes on brutus 2600 or the HFI2500 with the HF logo. Any comments/reliability with these newer hifonics models? Have they stepped it up over the years?

As always,

thanks in advance!

any other input? Reasoning behind the brutus?

nobody rocks 3500watt amps?

running the crescendo 3500 right now....solid amp, .5 daily and it does fine

sundown 3k/3500 is a good choice, I ran the 3k before the crescendo and it was a great amp

teammate has the audioque 3500, another good amp and can be found for a pretty good price

the brutus amps are about the only hifonics amps i would run... the hifi series is pretty meh... and the brutus all depends on what price your getting it for

and i agree on the crescendo... very solid amp for a great price... if your looking for a 3500w amp, at the best price, that is your best bet

how about the RF T2500 vs the sundown 2500d? Any comparisons between the two? I know that SA has awesome customer service and thats a major point of factor that I would take into consideration when purchasing an amp. I'll look into Crescendo and AudioQue. I think Cactus is out of my budget. Don't want to exceed the $800 range.

Getting a good voltage reading does not mean good power transfer. You could read 13.8v out of a 24 AWG wire. Recheck your amplifier's ground and...

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...
