i wanna know what i'll need to solder the wires together for my amplifer it will be over 800watts rms i was a little soldering gun and stuff but will that be strong enough it is 25-35 watt

The RMS you're running doesn't matter, it's wire size....anything smaller than around 12AWG, and you can probably get the job done with your run of the mill iron if you have some patience. Anything bigger than that, and having a big soldering gun makes it much easier..........or my favorite, flux and a torch. :thumbsup

A 25-30 watt iron is OK for like up to 18 gage. Nowadays I use crimp connectors instead.

definitely my fav. too! had to bust it out for soldering ring terminals on my 1/0 awg wire...good stuff. peace

go to radio shack and for about $30.00 buck, get one of their butane soldering irons. You can adjust it and its portable.
