soldering

Correct, heat the speaker wire/ terminal while feeding the solder. it will take a moment for the terminal to heat up. once it is to temp the solder will hold solid. That is what I did with my L7.

"tin" both the terminal and the speaker wire first, then put the wire on the terminal and apply heat to join the solder on both pieces and make the connection.

It sounds like you've never soldered before, so I'd suggest practicing before working on your actual parts because you can melt the plastic cup or the wire insulation, etc. if you take too long.

If at all possible use a pair of pliers or something as a heat sink to avoid melting the terminal cup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Heat the wire first. With the soldering iron still on the wire slowly melt solder onto the wire untill the exposed part is silver. Do the same thing to the terminal cup.

Once both items are "tinned", place them both together and heat them up as one. Use Heat shring if you want.
