brand new eclipse cd5000 (**** shit is lots harder to use compared to my old alpine 9831 but it still seems like a nice lil unit so far), 1 opened can of pepsi in cup holder, cd5k remote sitting in cup holder, add a speed bump and little shit drips of soda onto the remote = less than 45 minutes after cd player is installed i get a shorted out remote...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif :blackeye: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif :blackeye: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

ps: what kinda time alignment, and single setting xover is that eclipse?!?!?!

That does ****....... I have my amps under my seats so I always make sure that any drinks that are up front have lids.
yea. usually im careful about any electronics since they are so sensitive however since it was a new cd player and i just love messing with new stuff i didnt pay attention like i normally do...and the fact that my suspension is pretty shitty and needs to be replaces doesnt help. **** suv drive like it has 2x4's as leaf springs and metal pipes as shocks. oh well its not like i would use it that much anyways, but i just hate it when brand new shit gets messed up.

This is true.... the remote function on my last Eclipse HU's has been pretty lame (CD8454, CD8455, CD7000), to the point of saying why even have one.

Blasphemy!!!!!

it's coke. FTW

If you want a new remote I have a few brand new eclipse ones laying around. I agree they arent that great, but i usually use it to adjust volume and change tracks so my hard buttons dont wear out. If your interested in buying one pm me and well work something out.
