Thats right. DOES NOT hit. For me its young gunnerz "dont stop" song. I dont know why but all other songs sound good except that one and when i turn my volume pretty high whatever bass i do get sound like crap.

Maybe its just some midbass, with some of the songs that just have some small midbass our system sounds kinda crappy. Its funny to put in a song like chemical brothers bass test because it goes from like 600hz to 30 hz and our system get quietter as the bass rolls in, but then once it gets to 80 and is still dropping everything just starts vibrating lol.

BTW, rob zombie-dragula doesnt have very much bass, atleast in our car.

I know POD - School of Hard Knocks doesn't seem to have much bass at all in it. That's one song that feels "empty" as a result. Keep in mind that with MP3's (or other compressed formats), you lose a lot of the low-end and high-end frequencies during the compression, which is one reason you may be experiencing a lack of bass with some songs.

I wish there was a good lossless compression method for music, because while I have the bandwidth to download uncompressed wave files, I sure don't have the hard drive space to store many of them.

i find some burned songs dont even hit at all. on the comp, with my comptuer sub, it's loud, but in car it's nothing.

i dont know what the REAL bia bia sounds like, but every versions i've burnt, it all sounds like ****ing midbass, like 200hz, and people say that song is LOW AND HITS! and punk songs that are burned, most have NO bass at all

most of my cds are burnt and they still hit hard on my ht setup, but i will see what it is like on a caraudio setup when i get my shit together and get a job and everything

I wish my HT setup had even remotely decent speakers. Right now I've just got some Bose speakers up front and some old SoundDesign speakers in back. I have a nice AR powered sub, though. And my Sony receiver isn't too bad, though it is really showing it's age.

When I want to listen to music the way it was meant to be heard, I have to do so in my car.

most rob zombie.most rock doesnt have deep bass,let alone much bass.except tool has more than other.tool>ratm>zombie.
