Seeing that I only paid ~1400 in taxed income I'd have to disagree.

since a scholarship is taxable income....every year since 2008 i've had to pay at least $700 between state and fed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif. This year i had some extra withheld when i worked over the summer so we'll see what the damage ends up being.

yea... suprised me... usually i end up owing state... but my wife going to school full time this year gave us a nice sized exemption... that and the fact that i paid a lil over 20k in fed, and almost 7k in state taxes last year.
