MS just passed a law.. People don't have to be in your house anymore b4 you can shoot them.. If they are on your property, they are armed, and you are in danger, BOOM! Don't worry about going to jail...

And honestly, I don't know if I could shoot another person either.. I would have to know my life was in A LOT of danger before I could pull the trigger.. Killing someone would be something that would bother me everyday for the rest of my life.

My neighborhood, Hampton Glen, is on the southern side of Jacksonville. It's a nice neighborhood. Not quite "upscale" but it's pretty close. It's always been a very nice place to live- very friendly, good people, neighbors giving fudge, etc.
Anyways, over the last month, there have been 4 armed robberies in the neighborhood. While people have been out workin in the lawn or something, people go into their house. When the people go inside to see what the hell they're doing in there, the robbers pull a knife or gun or something until they have gotten everything they want, and run.

In the last week, 4 cars have been broken into, and all the valuables stolen out of them.

My mom has gone apeshit. She's paranoid about everything. She's even taped up paper on our windows that say "Don't bother... motion sensors inside, every window and door wired." (which is bullshit) Every time someone goes outside, even if its to get the mail or something, she'll start bitching if the door doesn't get locked. While I've been in the garage workin on the box, she locks the door that does into the garage.

i live in sandiego...scripps ranch/mira mesa to be exact..very rich area but as of the last few years ppl keep getting shot and having all of there cars stolen and everyone at my old high school is like an e dealer haha..i kno how u feel man

Works for some and then vicea versa! My girlfriends mothers house is in a rough area in Warren Ohio. Home to Maurice Clarrett. So that should tell ya something. Anyway she is in a neighborhood watch area and shit happens there constantly. It is really worthless to have it as people get away with shit all the time. I'm from Warren and yes there are some rough parts but not as bad as Youngstown where Maurice Clarrett is from. He just went to school in Warren. That a**hole shouldnt form your opinion on a city that he played football for in high school. And yes I went to school with his dumb a** too.

I know...but it took a lot.
My dad said if someone broke into our house, he would let them take the stuff rather than shoot them. It would cost more to litigate than the stuff we have costs.

But he's assuming they aren't going to want to beat you or your family, or **** any females in the house. I know you're a big guy and can take care of yourself but against armed and/or multiple attackers things probably won't go so well.

Well might as well update... They arrested the people who were doing it. Funny thing is, I've known one of em since I was a kid. He's always been a troublemaker, and now he's in the slammer for armed robbery. Pwnt. I hope bubba piitb.

Then again, we live sort of in the country, so we could shoot somebody, bury them in the woods a few miles back behind the house and nobody would even know. We shoot our guns all the time too, so the neighbors probably wouldn't think anything of it.
