I had a 79. Had the straight 6 in it too. I dropped in a 350, but before we did, we decided to try and blow up the 6. We emptied the oil and drove it 60 mph for about 40 miles. Nothing. Got a little warm, that's it. So then we filled the crank up with water. A lot of steam and no seized engine. Said **** it and pulled it for the 350. Ended up putting the 6 back in 76 pickup when my buddy threw a rod. He ran that engine for about 2 more years with no problems. Those 250 6's were tough.
My dad had a 95 exploder, went through 3 tranys. Of course, that could of been his make it to 60mph as fast as you can driving style.as for the ford, its a 1995 exploder, quite possibly one of the worst cars ever made, the heat is warm at best.. so is the air hahaha. weird noises the shocks are going. dont get me wrong i love it cuz its mine but shes more trouble then shes worth
haha i see i dont have support for the first one lol, but how about the other two? they are all within a half hr of my house so i can always go take a look at em
i do love the 60's novas but theres somethin sexy about the early 70 novas to me. idk wat it ishttp://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/1053836599.html
They should have quit making nova's after that year
