I leave it right next to me by the bed, not where I'd step when I wake up. I usually get on it before I get out of bed so it being within reach is nice.

Shitsux, man. Reminds me of an apartment I rented in upstate NY where the whole downstairs got flooded out because some cockwrench of a handyman connected the toilet to the hot water line and the pipes corroded.

not really. It wasn't really that big of a puddle. It got fucked up by there being water on top off the keyboard. But it's hardwood so it's hard to tell.
