:edit: forgot the onion for a dollar. and to suggest to save all the veggie scraps and freeze them until you have a bunch and make a veg stock then go buy a bag of beans for a dollar and make some ******* soup and get your protein and iron that way.
MMMM same thing to eat breakfast, lunch and, dinner 7 days a week?

Lots of surveys have been done showing healthy eating costs much more, just and example: "Energy-dense munchies cost on average $1.76 per 1,000 calories, compared with $18.16 per 1,000 calories for low-energy but nutritious foods."

"a 2,000-calorie diet would cost just $3.52 a day if it consisted of junk food, compared with $36.32 a day for a diet of low-energy dense foods. However, most people eat a mix of foods. The average American spends about $7 a day on food, although low-income people spend about $4, says Dr. Drewnowski.

And you're 40lbs in a month is probably cause you're not taking in enough calories, all weight loss isn't healthy weight loss.

hmm yeah not taking in enough calories wouldnt i feel like **** instead of having a ton of energy and feeling fantastic if i wasnt taking in enough calories? and im sorry i didnt go into every detail of my eating habits but i do consume a fair amount of fruit pretty sure thats high energy and nutrient rich and also extremely cheap if you get the ones that are in season. for instance apples and blueberries right now and bananas are always cheap as hell andare really good for you or oranges again super cheap and great for you. i think the whole idea of not being able to eat healthy becuase its to expensive is bull **** that lazy ***** pew becuase they dont want to take an extra minute to prepare their own food. i make on average 250-300 dollars a week my girlfriend makes about the same we have one child and we can afford to eat healthy and save money doing it. so im calling BS oneating healthy being expensive.
