after scoring a 126 on the hypoglycemia test....i decided to change my diet up. only allowed 1 can of pepsi per day, down from like 10 pops a day. Also, cut out all potato chips, dorito's, cookies, candy, kool-aid, caffiene, fried foods, cake, and most red meat.
So basically my new diet consists of all fruits, lots of veggies, baked/grilled chicken and fish, whole grain breads and cereals, lots of water (can use pure lemon or lime juice for flavor) lots of green tea, Dairy products in limited quantities, steamed rice and pastas, oatmeal etc.
Been doing this for like 2-3 days and overall i feel so much better, not bogged down by my meals. Energy levels are way up, moods are better so far, and honestly...i've lost 4 pounds in just like 60 hours. My goal is drop my cholesterol levels, which are at a dangerous 260, down to 140ish in the next 6 months. Also want to drop about 50 lbs..back to weight i was when i got out of the military (200lbs) Also, i'll be heading down and scooping a family membership at the Y so i can workout 5-6 days a week.
On a side note....i just cut up a whole fresh pineapple and me and my son ate the hell out it...tastes much better fresh then it does out of the can. If anyone is interested in dieting and losing some weight, hit me up and i plan on keeping a log of my progress.
