I remember when I worked for Delphi Packard security a lady cut off 4 of her fingers cleaning her machine and the machine kicked on when she was cleaning around the saw part. I was the first to arrive to the scene and she was just starring out into no where. I am like Mam, can you please tell me where you cut your fingers off? Funny, cause there wasn't that much blood really. I found the fingers and put them in a baggy we had in our emergency cart and took it too the warehouse hospital we had there. They put the fingers on ice and she had them sewed back on and she can use them to this day. I will never forget that day.

Lol, thats the same hand and finger that i almost lost the tip of. The finger skin stayed on, but the bone was hanging by a piece of skin and split almost in a wishbone shape. And my fingernail went in the lake. Still dont have one to this day, but i still have my finger.

Hopefully it grows back together. I cut a big chunk off my index finger once while cutting 1" thick steaks in a industrial meat slicer. Went to the hospital and they reattached it. You can barely tell where they reattached it anymore.
