its all imaginary
I had just finished step two of the big three (batt neg. to chassis) and I ran into a problem. I lost my battery terminal!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Okay so what happened was that I had just connected the new wire and I started the car to make sure the connection was good. I went back to disconnect the negative battery cable so I could work some more and I lost the terminal. I have a GM car so I have the side terminals on my battery, and the negative terminal bolt was pretty short, and i needed a longer terminal anyway. Well after I added the second ring terminal for my additional wire, the terminal didn't seat as well as it did stock. So as soon as I unhooked the battery, the terminal flew out and disappeared. Now I have to wait until my parents come home from work so I can use one of their cars to go buy another one.

So it's not a critical problem, just frustrating.

well first thing i did was alt positive to batt positive. then batt neg to chassis. i am stumped as to where to put the chassis to engine block wire though. there seems to be no good way to do it without hitting too much heat or getting myself too close to the serpentine belt.
