...And I don't have Xbox Live.

My friend told me about getting online and playing without live a long time ago, but I can't find it on google, because I dont know what I'm looking for. Anyone care to explain how I could hook it up to my mac and get on to play? I doubt that many people will be on but I just wanna play multiplayer and there's not bots like in quake or anything.

So, yea, if anyone could help that'd be appreciated haha

Come on... Just pay the $50 for an entire year's worth of subscription.

Trying to hack into xbox live would be more trouble than its worth, I'd imagine.

ha i would pay for the subscription but I dont play my xbox that much, and this will be the first time i've played it since fight night 3 came out haha

you can only play xbconnect on windows so i hope your machine is dual boot. you can bridge the connection by doing the following. http://ibotmodz.3.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=3577

you don't really have to worry about door stop x thing unless you plan on cheating, but now the banhammer drops hardcore on halo so don't bother.

and that ethernet you speak of must be a crossover cable 10 bucks or less anywhere for the most part

kai and xlink are 2 free sites that u can play xbox, ps2, and others for free online. They do have alot of moders though that cheat. All the info to get them set up are on their website. You will have to turn off your firewall to play though, I never had a problem doing so for a couple hrs.

BTW... playing halo 1 online was better using those programs.
