I think this amp will do you good...its a little more than ur looking to spend, but it will get the job done. Audiobahn hasn't been alot of ppl's fav. on this site, but you got it so use it. I have no problem with Audiobahn and I have had my share of Audiobahn products with no complaints. This amp here that I suggested is excellent for what you want. My buddy uses all Excellon products from Kenwood and they sound amazing. Running 1 ohm will be fine as long as you don't stress the amp out. What I mean is set the gain just a little lower than it should be. I'm sure being set a little lower won't bother you considering the power that will still be coming from it.

Why not keep saving until you have ~250 dollars so you can get an amp that will last you for a long time and beat the shit out of those Audiobahns?

Since 2 of your subs wired in parallel would come out to 1 ohm, and that amp does 1600rms@1ohm (1300rms realistically), your subs would see ~650 RMS a piece off of that amp and they would be to their full potential. In other words, they would beat pretty hard, given the correct install.

i would agree that the hifonics bxi1606d would be a excellent choice.. and if you look around i think i could be had for under 200$..

you dont need a 2 channel amp for subs.. you want a unified sound from subs, there is no need for stereo seperation for bass.. you simply need a MONO amp that will meet your power needs..

2 subs with dual 4 ohm coils can be wired to achieve a 1 or 4 ohm load.. most (not all) amps will put out more power in 1 ohm then 4..

you need a amp that puts out 1000 watts +/- rms at 1 OR 4 ohms..

most people will say that you need 1000 or more watts, HOWEVER i still revert back to my initial suggestion.. the PG X600.1 will put out 800+ watts, i have seen birthsheets near 900 watts.. it will run at full power in both 1 or 4 ohm loads, so either way you wire it, it will still work PERFECTLY.. and i would bet it would make you subs pound HARD

that hifonics amp would DEFINITLY work, but it is a little overrated and is gonna run hot in 1 ohm, and wouldnt have the juice you need in 4 ohm.. also it would require a stiffer electrical system then the PG..

You could have bought 2 187 12's for the price you spent on the audiobahns, and a BX1500D to power them in a good szie ported box and completely ****ing OWNED anything you have or had in your car. In car audio you don't buy things "cause you cant afford the better " YOU SAVE UP until you CAN afford the better. You got shit switched real bad if you want to get loud.

Hey come on now it's better than having nothing, but deff. Audiobahnuser I would look to a mono amp and wire both the subs parrallel giving you a 1ohm load. The Kenwood in my opinion would be good, but also at the same time some of the suggestions that ppl are giving you for other mono amps are just as good and even better. Look around and you should find something good for those Audiohans. A buddy of mine had a pair of them in a sealed enclosure and the amp he was using was just a little small, but they pounded pretty good. I think the subs you got are just fine and you will be happy with them being powered by the right amp.

Yeah im looking for amps and getting info jasper helped me alot with like how it works spec wise and what not but that say what guy is a douche and just talks shit , but yeah i like my subs fred i mean ill up grade eventually probably to some type r 12's or something like that but not for a while i like my system set up just like i said looking for a better amp but thanks for the info fred

I have to agree with some of the posts here. You keep wasting 100 bucks here, and then another 100 bucks there on crap. If you would have had an ounce of patience you would have a nice system already. Instead you're worried about "bumping" and hoping to impress the girls but meanwhile everyone else can hear your distorted, completely uncomprehensible noise coming out your windows and they're all laughing at you.

Do some research, work some overtime, and stop partying for a few weeks and you might be able to upgrade to some nice equipment you can keep for YEARS. It won't kill you to be without a subwoofer for a month or two while you save up.
