Alright guys know ive posted a number things bout amps but here we go i got 2 12's audiobahn 500 wats a piece i saw this amp Pioneer GM-520T Amp 760 watts is maximum power and its $121.63 do you think thats a good deal what you guys think if not what are some good amps want to either stay in the 800 -1200 watt range looking to spend around $140 to $180 2channel let me know post up or Pm me if you got any suggestions or deals

Really for $121 what could i get what are some sites want to at least gett something to make em hit right now my subs are under powered:( jensen 500 watt amp so yeah want to either sell that or trade it also have a sony hu trying to sell or trade or just trade both if its what i want:) just thought id add that in there

well i need to spend between $140-$190 any suggestions anyone want my subs to really hit they sound ok now but there underpowered looking for 1200 watts any suggestions post up here or pm me

lanzar 1200d or hifonics 1500d....... in that range thats the best quality youll get, if you save mroe youll get noticeable better bass froma higher quality amp...but those 2 amps i listed should do the job just fine.

why would you buy an amp from walmart? why do you have a jensen amp now? why do you have audiobahn subs?

that amp only does 125 Watts RMS x 2 (4 ohm) !!!!!!

and i'm sure your jensen amp is doing even less.

i'd suggest doing some research and getting decent equipment!

How much do those amps run ? and what guage power cable would i use could i use 8 ?
If ur thinking of pushing anywhere near 1,000 RMS than u need to get at least a 4 guage. And I'd like to know why u have the jensen and audiobahns too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

U can find the BX1500D for around $200ish, depends where u get it, I got mine for $185 new but it was on sale a few months back. And if u buy online, u can always find things cheaper.

Now are u subs 500 each rms or power? cuse if its power than probably only like 200rms each (audiobahns, eggh.) And what ohms are they?

Alright u 2 im sick of people always bad mouthing Audiobahn its what i could afford and i got that amp because its all i could afford at the time its just in there to power em make em hit a lil im saving up so you guys dont have to go and talk shit bout my system

*this is regarding to xluben and phyphoestilic*

that pioneer amp is WAY toooo little power.. period..

audioban subs can sound alright, but with a little forthought you could have done better for the money..

all that aside, we need to know what the subs recommended RMS power is.. i am guessing they are 500 a piece MAX, but that isnt what we need to know.. we need to know the RMS! also, are they single or dual voice coil? and what ohm are they..

without this information, your question is UNANSWERABLE.. PERIOD!

that being said, i am sure you can find a QUALITY amp that will power your subs for the price range you are looking to spend..

lets say they are single 4 ohm subs, and lets suppose they take 500watts RMS each.. then you need a amp that will output 1000 watts rms @ 2 ohm (2 - 4 ohm subs wire together to make 2 ohm)

i feel they are more likely 250 watts rms subs, normally subs that have a max rating listed will normally have a rms rate of about 50% of max.. so 250 watts rms each means you need a amp that will put out 500 watts at 2 ohm..

a good recommendation in either case would be a phoenix gold x600.1

the xenon series amps dont care what ohm load you hook up, and a x600.1 outputs 800+ watts rms.. 800 will be a little on the low side for subs that need 1000watts, but will still sound awesome. and if they are 250 each(500total), then the xenon wll have power to spare, just be sure to set the gain carefully so you dont blow them

hope this helped without offending

Jasper didn't offend me at all you actually helped me alot thanks im glad finally got someone that actually helped me instead of just bad mouthing audiobahn and at the time the subs i got a good deal on one of em was $25 from my friend like brand new used for like a week and then i went and bought the other for $100 was a good deal at the time i know there not the best i know theres better out there but i mean i like em they pound pretty good but im going to get the specs on those subs right now for ya ill post em up in one sec thanks again jasper
