you guys are making it seam like the subs arent going to make any noise.
Im not all about making my car rattle apart like some of you are.

The sub is under-rated to begin with. Lets say it has a birthsheet of 900RMS

thats 450 a sub....they are rated at 500rms

i know that is underrated as well but you guys are being ridiculous.

My friend has type R's pushed by 450 watts each... and they sound good... I'm sure it will sound great with that amp, its definitely enough to push them a considerable amount.

Not bad... but for the 12" Type R's to reach their potential, you'd have to give them a clean 700-900w rms each. Should sound really good with the mono amp you bought, though.

Did you buy the PDX 5 channel for the speakers or did you mean to link something like the PDX-4.100 or 4.150?

that amp is just enought to power one of those subs.
