Ok so im new here whats up guys i have been apart of many forums including pbnation and cobaltss.net. Well my gf loves the system so she was bumping some beats and boom my two mtx 12 inch 4500s blew. So i called my bro and we traded my dual blown mtxs in a carpeted box non ported box for his 12 inch orion sub in a ported box. problem with the sub it has a hole in the top of the cone but its hitting fine. The sub is just for now until i get a new sub. The box is really nice. im running a boston acoustics gt-24 amp that u can put into mono mode at 900 watts. Also i have a 2.5 farad pyro audio campacitor. 100sq ft of fat mat. What im wondering is what sub should i go with because i dont want to blow another sub so i want something that can handle this amp and be great. I was thinking a 12inch kicker cvx. would some of you guys please help me find the best sub so i dont run into this problem again. Personally i like the sound of one sub in a cobalt more than two. My 12 inch orion is hitting harder than my two mtxs were and i tuned the amp down with the orion. Also here is a pic of the ride that the system is in.
