ya know many opinions can be had about george bush..but from an economic stand point (I'm a business major) theoretically george bush did exactly what he was supposed to do. yes thats true and if you study into economics you would know that when our budget is in a deficit then taxes should be decreased and government spending should be increase(ie: the war) yea he kinda fell into it but many say clinton was a great president because we had a surplus budget...clinton didnt do anything. he just lucked out and had a nice ride with a secretary in his lap. I will agree that bush has done things that he shouldnt but what president hasnt? Many people look at our economy and immediately blame the president because they believe its all his fault. Well if everyone actually started to do something themselves our country wouldnt be as bad as it is. people just want to be lazy and have the government tell them what to do...to an extent because then when they dont like it they turn around a ***** and complain.

If Bush didn't ruin his party, why did reliable republican states like Indiana, North Carolina, Colorado and Nevada go democrat? Why did swing states that were trending republican like Ohio and Florida go democrat? Why did New England not elect a single republican representative?
