If you're doing the "big 3" there should be a stock location that the battery grounds to. Find it and use it. If you simply can not find one, find an existing mount somewhere on the frame to use.

If you can't find one,number 3 would be my choice.

#3 is my choice, too.

That chassis location would work, but see if you can find one closer to #3. The shorter the length the better.
