So a buddy of mine is trying to trade 2 like new D2 L7's for some type r's or something that needs less space. Some guy called him and offered some 1k Kicker amp and 2 JBL GTO speakers. After looking them up he decided against them and thats when the guy decided to let him know a few things.

First off he had planned on running the L7's at 1 ohm, which I had my buddy tell him you can't only .5, 2 and 8. Guy went on to say that he was a world record holder in 93 that did 173dbs.

And that you could wire down to 1 ohm, we needed to go back to school. He went on to say he was going to wire each sub to 2 ohm and then combine the 2 to go to 1 ohm. Buddy asked him how he would get them to 2 ohm and he was going to wire only 1 coil on each sub to get them to 1 ohm....

He wanted us to come over and he would show Tucson and us a thing or 2 on car audio. Of course no reply when we asked him to prove it this weekend at Winterfest.

Then he decided to down my buddies Okur a7 amp saying it was built by Pyramid and junk.
