i would love to do an SBC conversion, but i would not even know where to start

its a real straight forward swap in that car, can be done with basic hand tools pretty much, if you need any help or info let me know. im gona be parting out my camaro soon, 400+hp 355, 4 spd, built rear, weld wheels.

the whole wiring thing is where i get confused...my car has an ECM and i would like to go straight mechanical

yea that makes it alot easier without an ecm, run an msd ignition and your set, replace the guage panel with some aftermarket ones, they all come with sending units. anyonew with mechanical ability can do it. you shouldnt have problems.

i'll probably end up selling it to my old man....he needs a chassis for his built 502 that he wants to bracket
